JQ’s Persian Pride division has been working tirelessly to educate our community, reduce stigma, cultivate allyship, provide lifesaving support and services, and celebrate the lives of our Iranian LGBTQ+ friends, family, and community. As we enter our third year of groundbreaking work, we are thrilled to invite you to join us for our 3rd Annual Persian Pride Month this March! We have several events planned for the month, including our annual Lgbtq+ Persian Pride: Advocacy in Action community-wide panel event on March 6 and an exciting new Shabbat for Young Adults!

JQ is proud to invite you to our first-ever LGBTQ+ & Ally* Persian Pride Shabbat for Young Adults on Friday, March 15. The gathering will be hosted in a beautiful Beverly Hills home from 7:30 – 10:30 pm, and will bring together an inspiring cross-section of Iranian young adults from across Los Angeles. Join us to show the world that we are ONE larger united community, stronger together, beyond the micro-communities of LGBTQ+ / straight / etc.

*An ally is a heterosexual and/or cisgender person who supports equal civil rights, gender equality, LGBTQ+ social movements, and challenges homophobia, biphobia, and transphobia.
