ABOUT JQ’S COMMUNITY EVENTS VOLUNTEER TEAM

JQ’s Community Events Volunteers are at the heart of the successful execution of JQ’s Connect pillar of work. By providing logistical and engagement support to JQ professionals before, during, and after events and programs, Community Events Volunteers ensure that each of our community gatherings run smoothly and are safe, joyous spaces for all who attend. Volunteers actively connect new people to our LGBTQ+ Jewish community and the work that JQ does, creating an even stronger world where all LGBTQ+ Jews and their allies can connect, learn, and thrive. 

Through in depth training, shorter volunteer shifts, and free admission to any events they serve at, Community Events Volunteers get the best of both worlds – supporting JQ’s mission-fulfillment and enjoying the community that their support helps create.
