JQSA is thrilled to partner with Temple Emanuel, Beth Shir Shalom, Temple Isaiah, and Temple Kol Tikvah to present “Lock In Shabbat” — a one-of-a-kind overnight Shabbat experience designed by teens, for teens.
Join us from Friday, January 30 through Saturday, January 31 at Temple Emanuel for a night of connection, community, and creativity as we kick off the evening together in meaningful Shabbat spirit and then turn the night over to our incredible teen leaders.
We’ll begin with Shabbat Sparks Shira at 6:15 PM, coming together in song and reflection to welcome Shabbat. Then, at 8:00 PM, we’ll head into the social hall to officially launch our Welcome Back Lock-In, where the energy shifts and the teens take the lead for an evening full of fun, surprises, and intentional community-building.
Dinner, snacks, and beverages will be provided throughout the event — and word on the street (via a very trustworthylittle narwhal 🐋, TEMTY the mascot) is that some unique and exciting programming is in the works that you won’t want to miss.
Important Information for Families
