Event Details

Moving Traditions and JQ International’s Teen JQSA are excited to partner and bring you Tzelem for LGBTQ+ Jewish teens. Moving Traditions is a national organization that emboldens teens to flourish by fostering self-discovery, challenging sexism, and inspiring a commitment to Jewish life and learning. This group of 8th – 12th grade teens will gather each month to learn, grow, and bond together throughout the school year.

Tzelem program offers a safe, supportive space to make new friends and explore issues like:

  • Life transitions
  • Healthy Relationships
  • Challenging sexism
  • Body Positivity
  • Self-Compassion
  • Mental Health
  • Jewish Identity
  • And much more!

For those who are familiar with Rosh Hodesh and Shevet, the Tzelem group will incorporate the best of those programs, infusing special content created specifically for LGBTQ+ Jewish teens.

Meetings will take place on ONLINE via Zoom until further notice, then they will meet at JQ’s headquarters in West Hollywood. (801 Larrabee St. West Hollywood, CA 90069)
